How to make Bath bombs!

Today I will teach you how to make bath bombs!
These guys are amazing little balls designed to fizz up and make your bath water amazing.
Extremely romantic and also a very good way to make a perfect bath every time.

My famous blue ocean bath bomb recipe!
This recipe will make your skin nice and soft. It also smells amazing and feels even more amazing!


ingredients you will need

• 2 cups citric acid
• 4 cups baking soda
• Witch hazel
• Blue powder food coloring (optional)
• Lavender Oil
• Course Sea Salt
• Dome Shaped Mold (A small metal mixing bowl works)
• Spray bottle


Steps
1.Blend the citric acid and baking soda. Ensure it is blended extremely well or you will have grainy bath bombs.

2. (Optional) Once you’ve blended really well, add your blue colorant.
*Do not add a ton as the witch hazel really bring it out!

3.Add 3 Tbsp Lavender oil to the mix while you are blending!

4.Now, this is the difficult part. Spritz (with a squirt bottle) the witch hazel onto your batch while stirring with the other hand. When your batch sticks together when squished, you need to start putting it in molds – time is of the essence. If you wait too long, the mixture will get hard. If you spritz too much, the mixture will be too wet and “grow” (start the fizzing reaction) on you.

5.Put the bombs in molds. Make sure to put a heaping Tbsp of Sea salt at the bottom of the bowl first!– wait a few minutes and tap them out. Let them air dry for 3 or 4 hours and voila! Wonderful, hard bath bombs. The harder you pack the bath bombs, the more dense, heavy, and durable bomb you will get.


These make for great gifts or just a nice alternative to regular bubble baths!
Enjoy and make sure not to stay too long in the bath! your poor skin will prune!!

Feel free to also switch the salt with something else like dried seaweed and the Lavender to another oil to try different bombs! Have fun with them!
